Three is my favourite number, nine at a pinch (3×3) but three is it. I’m almost superstitious about it; no idea why. So, imagine my distress this Christmas period when I realised that FOUR has now taken on a huge significance. Why?
In January 2016, I founded English Language Solutions. My very thin “business plan” contained three elements: copywriting, translation and English language teaching, but mainly teaching.
Fast-forward four years and my English lessons were decimated by the Covid outbreak, and I found myself back at square one, unsure of what the future held. The original three elements had suddenly become two. Two? I had to do something.
I took a proofreading course. It made sense, I work with words. I collaborate with other language professionals. My language solutions are no longer just English.
Now, four years later, I’ve a new website containing all the language services E.L.S. can offer, which I invite you to read, if you’re willing, and I’m sure you’ll agree that they now add up to more than three, or even four, for that matter.
So many, in fact, that you’ll find a language solution for any necessity you may have.
But who’s counting?
Happy New Year and a healthy and successful year to all of you!
